The Monmouth Symphony League

The Monmouth Symphony League is celebrating its forty-sixth year of promoting and supporting our wonderful Monmouth Symphony Orchestra.  We are grateful to those of you who attend our seasonal musicales as well as our October and May luncheons at the Deal and Jumping Brook Country Clubs, respectively.

Our October luncheon at the elegant Deal Golf and Country Club is scheduled for Sunday, October 2, at 11:30.  You will not want to miss this opening season luncheon, always a delight.  Our outstanding Monmouth Symphony Orchestra musicians for this event are Winnie Burke, violin and piano, and Ted Malevris, Concertmaster, violin.  You will also be treated to the voice of September McCarthy, Ocean Township High School sophomore and accomplished soprano.  If you have not yet attended any of our events and are not on our mailing list, please contact Karen Slobodin, Membership Chairperson, at 732-946-4311.  Also, please consider joining the League for an annual fee of $30 per individual or $40 a couple. 

We are open to any suggestions and ideas that you may have to assist us in our fundraising efforts, for example, by providing venues such as homes, gardens or other locations where small groups of our musicians or individuals might perform.  Please help us to keep classical music alive by spreading the word about and attending our League events and by subscribing to the MSO's full concert series.
